CHAIN DRUG REVIEW RATES SWISS MEDICA’S 024 PAIN RELIEF PRODUCT ‘TOP ITEM’ AT NACDS TRADE

Toronto, Canada – In the recent Chain Drug Review, a trade periodical for the Chain Drug Store Industry, Swiss

Medica’s 024 pain relief product was rated as the ‘top item’ at this past summer’s National Association of Chain

Drug Stores “Show to Shelf” program for all categories. The merit of this rating was based entirely upon retailer

interest. Swiss Medica’s 024™ Essential Oil Pain Neutralizer was the most frequently scanned product at the

NACDS Marketplace. Of the most scanned products, seven were in skin care, five each in healthcare and

general merchandise, four in vitamins and nutritional supplements, and two each in oral care and consumables.

According to Chain Drug Review, “The numbers from the inaugural Show to Self program at last June’s

Marketplace are impressive. Four-hundred and fifty retailers, or 61% of those attending the event, carried

scanners. More than 10,000 scans of 3,020 products were performed at 435 booths, representing 69% of

exhibitors.”

The periodical concluded, “… retailers do have an interest in merchandise that is truly new and different, no

matter what the source.”
